My wife, Amy Jacks Dean, and I have been the pastors (co-pastors) of the Park Road Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC since 2000. Our church is a wonderful community of faith, filled with an interesting (theological) mix of members — but who insist on an “open pulpit,” allowing, encouraging their pastors to challenge them, theologically and socially. This blog is an effort to extend that pulpit beyond the walls of 3900 Park Road. Join me!
